In the ancient village of Sălciua, at the foot of the Bedeleu Massif and just a stone's throw away from the famous Huda lui Papară Cave, there was born Bat’s Cave Hut Transylvania. Our story is not written on asphalt, but on mountain paths, in the rustle of the forest, and in the strength of the limestone cliff that watches over us.

The cabin was built out of a desire to bring back to life the spirit of the households of yesteryear, but adapted for the soul of the modern traveler seeking a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. The name is no coincidence: we are neighbors with one of the most spectacular bat colonies in Europe, sheltered within the depths of the mountain beside us. We have preserved the warm wood, the clean order of the place, and the specific hospitality of the "moți" (local highlanders), transforming everything into a corner of paradise where time seems to stand still, and the stars look closer than anywhere else.
